The Anambra State Laboratory Optimization Project (ASLOP) is making huge progress!
The testing phase has begun with essential tests, including urinalysis, glucose, and full blood count (FBC), as we work towards enhancing healthcare in Anambra State. Activities are in currently in place across the state to extend the reach of this project, aiming to benefit even more communities in Anambra State.
ASLOP is a vital three-month pilot initiative, spearheaded by Bloom Public Health, in partnership with the Anambra State Government, Nigeria, Erba Mannheim, and Worldwide Commercial Ventures Limited (WWCVL). This project is focused on modernizing diagnostic services at key healthcare centers in the state. The project targets four General Hospitals in Agulu, Oraifite, Nnobi, and Umunze, as well as a Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Onitsha. These facilities have been equipped with state-of-the-art Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis analyzers, which will enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of laboratory testing.
By offering high-quality and affordable diagnostic services, ASLOP is addressing key gaps in laboratory capabilities across the state, ultimately improving health outcomes for the entire community. This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening Anambra State’s healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that quality diagnostic services are accessible to all.
