Today, Bloom Public Health, in collaboration with Origin Technologies FZCO and LANACOME, hosted an insightful workshop on Track and Trace Solutions for the Pharma Supply Chain Ecosystem at the LANACOME Conference Hall in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The event brought together industry leaders, with Bloom Public Health represented by ORAKWUE IKENNA, Director of Special Projects, and Etiene Kwebe, Program Manager, Cameroon. Other key stakeholders included the Director General of LANACOME, Prof. Rose MBALLA, represented by MVONDO Christophe, Head of Communication at LANACOME, and Dr. Ntsama Nicole from the Ministry of Public Health, Cameroon.
The workshop was highlighted by presentations from ORAKWUE IKENNA, who outlined Bloom Public Health’s vision, mission, and core services aimed at transforming public health across Africa. He emphasized the critical importance of pharmaceutical traceability and provided a deep dive into the track and trace solutions developed by our partner, Origin Technologies FZCO. Additional thought-provoking presentations were delivered by Onur Soybaş and Chaymae Lhafss of Tiga Healthcare Technologies, Turkey, as well as Khaled El-Sayed of Origin Technologies FZCO, Egypt.
With the pharmaceutical sector’s increasing need for transparency and accountability, these track and trace solutions could revolutionize how the continent manages its supply chains, potentially reducing counterfeit drugs and improving access to life-saving treatments. The journey to a healthier Africa is being built on these critical innovations.
