In a significant move to enhance healthcare delivery across West Africa, Bloom Public Health Group and the West African Private Healthcare Federation (FOASPS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership focused on strengthening regional health systems through private sector collaboration.
The agreement was formalised on the sidelines of the 26th Assembly of Health Ministers of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), held in Praia, Cabo Verde. The collaboration aims to address pressing healthcare challenges in the region by developing and implementing innovative, context-driven solutions.
Under the MoU, Bloom Public Health and FOASPS will jointly undertake initiatives to improve public health, deliver technical assistance, and reinforce health systems across West African countries. Emphasis will be placed on pharmaceutical manufacturing, diagnostics, and evidence-based health policy development.
This collaboration will focus on empowering the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals, enhancing capacity building, and addressing critical challenges in healthcare delivery. Through this partnership, Bloom and FOAPS will work jointly to implement impactful initiatives, facilitate policy advocacy, and drive sustainable solutions that improve public health outcomes.
Together, we are committed to advancing healthcare innovation, promoting pharmaceutical excellence, and creating a healthier future for communities in West Africa.
