Project Overview
Bloom Public Health conducted a comprehensive technical audit of laboratory personnel and equipment across SON laboratory facilities to assess workforce capacity, equipment functionality, and operational efficiency. The assignment aimed to establish a baseline for future assessments, identify staffing and competency gaps, evaluate laboratory equipment status, and provide recommendations to improve laboratory performance and service quality.


The following key activities were carried out:
- Assessed the capacity, competence, and proficiency of technical laboratory staff.
- Evaluated staffing levels and identified workforce gaps across laboratory units.
- Conducted an inventory and verification of laboratory equipment.
- Assessed equipment functionality, utilization, and maintenance status.
