WHO Prequalification Support for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in Nigeria
Bloom public health in collaboration with NIPRID and ministry of health piloted the IMPACT Project funded by world bank designed to strengthen the capacity of Nigerian pharmaceutical manufacturers to achieve World Health Organization Prequalification (WHO-PQ) for antimalarial medicines. The project aimed to improve the quality, competitiveness, and global market readiness of locally manufactured pharmaceutical products through advocacy, technical assessments, capacity building, industry engagement, and international knowledge exchange.

AUDIT OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND AUDIT OF TECHNICAL STAFF OF STANDARDS ORGANIZATION OF NIGERIA
Bloom Public Health conducted a comprehensive technical audit of laboratory personnel and equipment across SON laboratory facilities to assess workforce capacity, equipment functionality, and operational efficiency. The assignment aimed to establish a baseline for future assessments, identify staffing and competency gaps, evaluate laboratory equipment status, and provide recommendations to improve laboratory performance and service quality.

Development of Quality Risk Management framework for the supply of Misoprostol to Sub Saharan African Region
The CIFF Misoprostol Project was funded by the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) through Population Services International (PSI) and implemented in partnership with FHI 360, academic institutions, and subject-matter experts across Africa and the United States.

The State of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry in Africa Report
Bloom Public Health supported the development of The State of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry in Africa Report (2005–2025), a landmark evidence-based assessment of Africa’s pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape. The project involved comprehensive research, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and policy review to evaluate the progress, challenges, opportunities, and investment needs of pharmaceutical manufacturing across the continent.

Pharmacy Delivered PrEP for At-Risk Adolescents and Young Adults in Nigeria
This project aims to increase access to HIV prevention services among at-risk adolescents and young adults in Nigeria by adapting and piloting a successful pharmacy-delivered Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) model previously implemented in Kenya. The initiative seeks to address barriers to HIV prevention access by leveraging community pharmacies as accessible, youth-friendly platforms for PrEP delivery and related HIV prevention services.

African Vaccine Academy (AVA)
Training the next generation of vaccine leaders in partnership with Biotech Training Facility, Netherlands, to meet Africa’s vaccine manufacturing goals. AVA provides comprehensive training and mentorship to address the critical shortage of skilled professionals in vaccine and biologics manufacturing, paving the way for Africa to achieve the ambitious goal of producing 60% of its own vaccines by 2040, ensuring greater self-reliance and accessibility.

Lassa Fever Vaccine Development – Technical Support
Bloom Public Health provided strategic scientific input to support ongoing efforts toward the development of a Lassa fever vaccine.

Anambra State Laboratory Optimization Project (ASLOP)
Anambra State engaged Bloom Public Health to conduct a coordinated laboratory optimization intervention.
