Professor Chimezie Anyakora is a renowned pharmaceutical scientist, public health strategist, academic, and health systems leader with over two decades of experience driving healthcare transformation across Africa. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Public Health Group, he leads a pan-African organization dedicated to strengthening health systems through pharmaceutical quality systems, laboratory strengthening, diagnostics, public health policy, supply chain optimization, research, and healthcare innovation.

An accomplished academic and researcher, Professor Anyakora is a Professor at Pan-Atlantic University and has held academic and research appointments at leading institutions, including the University of Lagos, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific publications and is widely recognized for his contributions to pharmaceutical quality, medicines safety, public health systems, and regulatory science.

Throughout his career, he has worked closely with governments, regulatory authorities, multilateral organizations, development partners, and the private sector to strengthen pharmaceutical manufacturing, improve regulatory systems, enhance laboratory capacity, and expand equitable access to quality-assured medical products across the continent. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing initiatives that promote local manufacturing, healthcare innovation, workforce development, and resilient health systems.

Professor Anyakora is a passionate advocate for African-led solutions to Africa's health challenges. Through Bloom Public Health Group, he continues to champion strategic partnerships, scientific excellence, and evidence-based innovation that improve health outcomes, strengthen institutions, and shape the future of public health across Africa and beyond.
