Bloom Public Health Hosts 6th Brown Bag Session on Global Networking and Cross-Border Collaboration
September 7, 2026
The Bloom team was led by Etiene Kwebe, Program Manager for Cameroon, and Engineer Idowu Oluwasegun Technical Manager at Bloom Public Health, who joined from Nigeria. They were warmly received by the Director General of LANACOME, Prof. Ngono Rose, and members of her team.

During the reception, Prof. Ngono Rose thanked Bloom Public Health for its work in Cameroon. She described the collaboration as a starting point for more technical initiatives in Cameroon and across the CEMAC sub-region (the Central African Economic and Monetary Community). She also emphasized the importance of African-led solutions to African health challenges, using expertise and partnerships from within the continent.

After the reception, the Bloom team toured the laboratory to review the equipment scheduled for checking. The tour was led by Mr. Eyamba King Parfait, Head of the Clinical Analysis and Spectral Service, and Mr. Tsimi Atangana Gilles, Director of Quality, Health, Security and Environment. They gave the team an overview of the equipment and working environment.

This project is an important step toward helping the laboratory produce accurate, dependable results, keep its machines in good working order, and keep improving the quality checks on medicines.

Bloom Public Health remains committed to supporting laboratories and public health institutions across Africa through technical expertise, training, quality assurance, and locally driven solutions.
